The 5 Mental Laws - Change Your Mind, Transform Your Life

You may have already heard that if you want to change your life, it all starts with changing your mindset. Have you ever stopped to think about the laws that govern your mind? Just like there are physical laws and universal laws that govern our universe, there are also mental laws that govern how our minds work. And if we want to create lasting change in our lives, it's important to understand these mental laws and how we can use them to our advantage. In this blog post, we'll be exploring the 5 mental laws and how they can help us create the life we want. 

1. The Law of Mentalism

The Law of Mentalism is all about the power of the Mind. It says that all is Mind, that there is only one Reality and this one Reality is the pure potentiality from which all comes. As all things come from within, it also states that all that exists is also Mind. This means all things are just thoughts and in order to manifest something into our lives we need to first think about it. By visualizing and holding harmonious and positive thought patterns we find that these manifest inevitably as all thought eventually externalizes itself. In this way, the Law of Mentalism acts as an empowering reminder for us to harness our inner power to create our own reality.

2. The Law of Reverse Effect

The Law of Reverse Effect is an insight into how our minds work, demonstrating that striving too hard can actually stifle progress. Similarly in the physical realm, the more you strive to complete a task such as falling asleep or recalling something like a name - it may become increasingly harder and seemingly impossible! The trick? Just let go and surrender. Becoming familiar with this wisdom helps us understand The Universal Law of Least Effort; allowing us to accept things will still come all while maintaining ease-of-mind throughout life's journey towards achieving goals without needing struggle along the way.

3. The Law of Dominant Effect

The Law of Dominant Effect is a powerful mental law that emphasizes how our strongest emotion will always prevail. If we want to work towards achieving our goals, it’s important to question any negative beliefs or feelings and let them go. Likewise, cultivating positive emotions can help us overcome the doubts and fears that might try to influence us on this journey - allowing optimism and faith lead the way! Using The Law of Dominant Effect as guidance makes success more achievable for all.

4. The Law of Repetitive Effect

The Law of Repetitive Effect indicates that, much like a computer taking commands without question, our subconscious mind will consider something to be true, given enough repetition. The childhood conditioning process is an example - messages need to be repeated multiple times before being absorbed into the inner workings of the brain. To reprogram ourselves and manifest what we desire requires regular repeating in order for those changes to become permanent – think affirmations! As it takes more than one attempt for successful programming efforts to truly "stick", regularly affirming yourself with positive phrases lets your deep inner self know exactly how you want things to take shape.

5. The Law of Experience

The Law of Experience is a fascinating concept that helps us to recognize how our brains function. We're reminded that the last moment of an experience sticks with us throughout the day. Keeping this law in mind can be extremely beneficial as we work towards achieving success and excellence; always leaving positive, powerful thoughts as our final impression! By doing so, we are able to reach for greatness and reprogram ourselves into becoming more confident individuals filled with optimism for what lies ahead on life's journey.


By understanding the five Mental Laws, we can take steps to create lives with more harmony, happiness, and peace. When utilized correctly, these governing principles empower us to gain an improved understanding of ourselves and our world. While it may be difficult to get used to viewing life on a higher level of consciousness at first, don't give up. Remember that the results are always worth it. With practice and patience, practicing the five Mental Laws will bring about direction, growth, success and inner peace.
